Are you using reviews on your website? If you’re not, you should consider the value they might add to your business…
TRUST – It’s a biggie.
As a business, how do you get potential new customers to trust your brand?
Collecting reviews from your existing customers and feeding them through to your website is a great way to build trust.
Which reviews site is best?
We use, and recommend, reviews.co.uk for our clients, but you might also consider Trust Pilot, FEEFO, Google reviews.
These types of review systems have to be authorised and cannot be amended.
They are very simple to use and you can even get customers to leave their evaluations via their phones.
It’s a great way to manage your online reputation, credibility, and reliability for new customers and can increase confidence in your brand and assure trustworthiness for new customers.
Here are some useful stats from an independent survey:
- 84% of people trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation
- 54% of people will visit the website after reading positive reviews
- 74% of consumers believe that reading a positive review will make them trust a business more
- 58% of consumers say that a business with an official vetted rating appears more credible
Last year, we created the website for Purple Property Shop – it went live in December 2016.
PPS’ managing director, Matthew, is very happy that we suggested they add a review section.
“One of the key messages we wanted to get across to our customers was the quality of customer service. Stone Create therefore recommended that our customers leave us a review on a specialist website Reviews.co.uk.
We have now collected nearly 100 reviews with 98% of customers giving us either 4 or 5 stars (out of 5). This leaves us with an average score of approximately 4.8 (96%). These results and the reviews themselves are showcased on the homepage of our website giving potential customers the reassurance that they would be in safe hands if they market a property through us.”
Hopefully, you too will amass a great selection of positive ratings.
If the odd niggle from a customer does comes up, you can demonstrate that you care and respond in a positive way to any criticism.
All in all, reviews are a fantastic tool to help you market your business.
