  • Bin Tags

    In order to assist our frontline bin workers, we and the team at BwD Council worked to create a waste management system for the community in Blackburn and Darwen to follow.

    The idea that we came up with was a 2-way system for when people put their waste in the wrong colour bins.

  • Stickers for Bins

    To avoid any confusion on which items belong in each bin, we produced stickers to be stuck on bins across the district.

    These stickers featured graphics on the different types of waste which belongs on each bin and a “Thank you for recycling message”.
