Virtual Open Day for over 1000 students
When the coronavirus pandemic hit it left many companies having to rethink their strategies. Runshaw College, a brand we have worked with closely for many years, had the issue that they could no longer host a September open day event for new students in 2020.
This had the potential to impact the number of students that would choose Runshaw and would ultimately have an impact of the education of these students. We had to find a way to make this work and find a solution.
Together, we came up with the idea of hosting a complete virtual event via the current Runshaw College website. Our Web Development team created a well-structured system where students could view the whole campus online despite no one being in the college. We had an interactive map of the whole campus to showcase Runshaw’s excellent facilities. The online event was accessed by over 1000 users and was a complete success.
