New Website and Google Campaign
The Fireplace Company are a fireplace retailer established in 1986. They approached us to see how PPC advertising could help their business and drive more sales online.
They had already tried PPC before but had lost money from it and after having a break for a couple of years, they recruited us for help.
We recommended that before starting with the PPC campaign, their website should be updated. Together, we worked on creating their brand new e-commerce website hosting over 500 products. The website features product pages, a showroom tour, gallery and brand pages. We created the website to support their current branding by using their signature colours and professional fireplace images throughout.
Once the website was complete, our next objective was to launch their PPC campaign. We recommended using Google Shopping as their supported platform and together we agreed on a budget to test how the advertising performed.
We used geographical targeting, only promoting certain products in specific locations due to shipping regulations. Once we could see how different product categories were performing, we reallocated the budget into what was performing and deducted where it wasn’t. This gained The Fireplace Company even more sales as they were able to input money where they were already seeing results.
After 6 months, the sales were doing so well that we decided to increase the budget. Our digital experts were able to see in our data that upscaling the budget would only increase more sales. We also started new campaigns monitoring how many people rang the phone number so we could see how much foot traffic we were driving to The Fireplace Company showroom in Lancaster.
Working together, we have helped increase online sales by a vast amount and we continue to work with the team at The Fireplace Company in achieving even more digital success.
